Denise Irizarry

I’m a clinical social worker/psychotherapist and I specialize working with adolescents and young adults. I specifically specialize in treating individuals with anxiety, depression and trauma/PTSD.

I utilize a holistic, person-centered approach, and I incorporate a variety of modalities rooted in art and play therapy, mindfulness, somatic work, CBT, DBT, or traditional talk therapy techniques.

My goal is to create a safe environment and collaboratively work with individuals to craft effective and meaningful interventions to assist in understanding their inner world, in order to reach their full potential and learn essential tools which will serve them throughout life.
