Great to meet you!

I am a psychiatric provider who specializes in working with adults experiencing anxiety and depression, and I’m passionate about creating a space where you feel genuinely seen and heard. My clinical background includes formal training in evidence-based treatments for mood and anxiety disorders, and I have experience supporting clients from diverse cultural and personal backgrounds. I strive to bring both professional expertise and a warm, grounded presence to every session so that you feel comfortable sharing what’s really going on in your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, practical, and strengths-based. I draw from therapies such as cognitive behavioral techniques, mindfulness, and supportive psychotherapy, while also considering biological, psychological, social, and cultural factors that may be impacting your mental health. Together, we’ll identify specific patterns that are keeping you stuck, build coping skills that fit your daily life, and, when appropriate, thoughtfully integrate medication management into a broader treatment plan. I believe that treatment works best when you feel like an active partner in your own care.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm, structured conversation focused on getting to know you as a whole person—not just a list of symptoms. We’ll talk about what has brought you in, your current stressors, your history with anxiety and depression, and what has or hasn’t helped in the past. I’ll share my initial impressions, answer your questions, and collaborate with you on clear next steps, so you leave with a sense of direction and a plan tailored to your goals.
