Great to meet you!

I am a passionate Latina mental health therapist who believes that everyone deserves to feel happy and supported, with a healthy mind and heart. I believe therapy is a space for healing, growth, and empowerment, where your story, culture, and experiences are valued and respected.

I understand the stigma that can come with seeking mental health support, especially within families and cultural communities where asking for help may feel uncomfortable or even discouraged. Many clients I work with feel pressure to stay strong, put family first, or carry emotional burdens quietly, often feeling like they don’t fully belong or that their struggles are misunderstood. I recognize how heavy that can feel, and you do not have to carry it alone.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where you can express yourself freely without judgment. Together, we work on building emotional awareness, healthy coping skills, and balance between honoring family values and honoring yourself.

As a Latina clinician, I deeply value the role of culture, family, and community in the healing process. My goal is to help you break free from shame, strengthen your sense of self, and feel empowered to prioritize your mental well-being while staying true to who you are.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and culturally responsive. I believe healing happens when clients feel safe, understood, and respected, especially when vulnerability is difficult due to stigma, family expectations, or past experiences.

I use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, tailoring each session to your unique needs and goals. I focus on strengthening both the mind and heart by building insight, practical coping skills, and self-compassion, while honoring your resilience, culture, and lived experiences.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect to feel seen, heard, and supported. Many clients leave thinking, why did I wait so long, because the space feels safe, natural, and welcoming.

I focus on building real connection from the start. We will talk about what has been weighing on you and what you hope to change. Sessions feel comfortable and engaging, with warmth and moments of lightness, while still focusing on meaningful growth.
