Great to meet you!

Often times life experiences can change our view of the world and impact life in a way that stops us from experiencing peace and joy. I believe we can all change and heal to create the life we want. I have over 20 years of experience working in child welfare, substance abuse, mental health and juvenile justice, witnessing resilience that emerges when people have a safe space to share their story and learn new skills to navigate life.

My approach to therapy

Therapy shouldn’t be a lifetime commitment. You will receive assessments during treatment to track progress. I use a brain-based approach to understand how experiences shape us and lead to change. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Solution Focused approaches to address treatment goals.

What you can expect from me

In working together you should expect to explore different perspectives to your life situation. You will also be challenged to try new things and practice in between sessions to move toward your goals.
