Great to meet you!

I am both a Clinical Psychologist and Licensed Behavior Analyst, with over a decade of experience supporting individuals across clinical and educational settings. This dual training allows me to understand both the emotional depth of your experience and the behavioral patterns that may be influencing it.

Clients often describe me as warm, thoughtful, and direct. I value creating a space where you feel safe and understood, while also gently challenging you toward meaningful growth. I believe therapy should feel supportive — but also purposeful.

I approach my work with authenticity and respect. I do not see people as problems to be fixed, but as capable individuals navigating complex experiences. My role is to help you gain clarity, build confidence, and move forward with intention.

Because of my background, I am especially attentive to patterns — not to judge them, but to understand how they developed and how they can change. I care deeply about providing ethical, evidence-based care that leads to lasting results.

Above all, you can expect a collaborative partnership grounded in trust, structure, and steady progress.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I draw from person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and behavioral approaches, with a strong specialization in the treatment of OCD, anxiety disorders, and behavioral conditions.

Creating a safe and supportive environment is foundational to my work. I believe meaningful progress begins when you feel understood and respected. Our sessions move at a pace that feels manageable, while still gently encouraging growth.

Because OCD and anxiety are central areas of my practice, I frequently incorporate Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP); the gold standard treatment for OCD, as well as evidence-based CBT strategies for anxiety-related concerns. These approaches help reduce avoidance, interrupt compulsive cycles, and build tolerance for uncertainty and distress in a structured and supported way.

I also integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to strengthen psychological flexibility; helping you respond differently to intrusive thoughts and difficult emotions while reconnecting with your values and long-term goals.

As both a Clinical Psychologist and Licensed Behavior Analyst, I pay close attention to patterns — how certain behaviors, thoughts, and reinforcement cycles may unintentionally maintain anxiety. This allows us to move beyond insight alone and focus on sustainable behavioral change.

Therapy with me is compassionate but purposeful. We will explore what’s happening beneath the surface, while also building concrete tools that help you feel more confident, steady, and in control of your life.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect to feel heard.

My priority is to create a space where you feel safe sharing your concerns without judgment or pressure. We will begin to articulate the relevant details of your journey — what has brought you here, what feels most difficult right now, and what you hope might be different.

Together, we’ll start identifying patterns, stressors, and initial goals, while moving at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable. You do not need to have everything organized before coming in. Part of our work is bringing clarity to what may feel overwhelming or unclear.

If appropriate, we may also discuss plans for relevant assessments or structured measures to better understand symptoms such as anxiety, OCD, or behavioral concerns. These tools are not to generate labels-they simply help us gather information so treatment can be precise, effective, and tailored to you.

By the end of the session, you can expect a clearer sense of direction and an understanding of how we will move forward together.

The first meeting is about connection, clarity, and beginning the foundation for meaningful, lasting change.
