Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience supporting children, teens, young adults, and families. I understand what it feels like to carry the weight of expectations while trying to appear “fine” when things feel overwhelming. My own journey through therapy taught me that growth does not come from perfection, but from compassion, self-awareness, and learning healthier ways to navigate life’s challenges.

I specialize in working with children (ages 4–12), teens (13–17), young adults (18–25), and parents who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, and family challenges. My approach is warm, steady, and collaborative. I create a supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and safe to be honest about what they are experiencing.

I focus on helping clients build insight, strengthen resilience, and develop practical tools that support meaningful progress over time.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, steady, and relational. I understand how difficult it can be to open up, especially if you are used to carrying things quietly or trying to appear fine on the outside. I work to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest about what you are experiencing.

I tailor each session to the individual, taking time to understand your story, your patterns, and what has shaped you. I believe growth happens through insight, compassion, and practical support. I approach our work as someone walking beside you, offering guidance and encouragement as you build healthier ways of coping and move forward with confidence.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is simply a space for us to get to know each other. My priority is helping you feel comfortable and at ease. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been weighing on you, and what kind of support would feel helpful right now. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences, and you can share as much or as little as you feel ready to.

This first conversation is about connection and understanding. I want you to leave feeling heard, supported, and confident that this is a place where you can show up honestly.
