Great to meet you!

I'm incredibly fortunate to say that I have over a decade of experience in providing therapy as an LMFT to individuals, groups, couples and folks of all ages. I received my Master's in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University, in the heart of the Bay Area, in 2015. I have been able to create meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients over the years that have helped them move forward with their difficulties and/or life transitions. With humility, I can very much also state that through the experiences in my work with clients, I have grown as a person and as a clinician.

The areas that I work closely with are mood disorders (depression, anxiety, bipolar), adult life transitions, grief and loss, work issues, parenting, self-esteem, LGBTQIA+ and identity, cultural identity, trauma, navigating relationships, adult children of narcissistic parents and many others.

I myself identify as a bisexual cisgender woman (she/her) with ADHD, am a mother of two great kids and have a full house with dogs, cats and a hamster. I love to be outside, taking trips, working on puzzles and all things Halloween!

My approach to therapy

My work with clients will focus on what you are trying to gain from therapy and being a trusted and reliable person whom you're able to share your thoughts and ideas. I'm not here to judge you or where you are at in your current season of life. The only person who can make decisions and change in your life is you. This being said, I commit to helping you make sense of things when it feels like too much to handle on your own as well as be honest with you as you make these decisions for yourself.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I will be attentive to getting to know you, what your needs are as a person, will come to an understanding of what area(s) in your life that you would like help in and support you in deciding if we could be a good therapeutic fit. The first session is meant to provide you with understanding, validation and hopefully a connection to a professional you feel will be genuinely invested in your healing needs.
