Great to meet you!

Hi! I am Louisiana-based therapist specializing in faith-based counseling. Originally raised in Morehouse Parish, I graduated from Xavier University LA with my bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. I went on to continue my graduate training at John Brown University of Arkansas where I received dual masters degrees in Clinical Mental Health Therapy and Marriage and Family Counseling in 2015.

Currently, I've been in the mental health field for over a decade and have been fully licensed since 2018. Throughout this time, I have worked in, both, inpatient and outpatient settings as well as offered therapy services to clients in their home and community based settings. I have also clinically supervised and professionally trained my peers.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and trying new things as well as spending time with my family and friends. I have come to recognize that each person has a different path that they attend throughout their journey in life. I am excited to partner with you on your venture to becoming a healthier version of yourself.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is primarily eclectic with hints of cognitive behavioral, Rogerian, reality-based,and solution-focused techniques. The path to healing can look different for each of us. I’m here to assist you in identifying your strengths so that you may attain your wellness in a healthy manner.

What you can expect from me

Our initial meeting will involve getting acquainted and pinpointing your needs. We will also work to set goals for treatment and discuss your results from the outcome measures taken prior to the start of your initial session. Subsequent sessions will be dedicated to making progress toward achieving your established therapeutic and personal goals.
