Dr. Deniz Sidali

As a dedicated clinical psychologist, I have amassed over 25 years of expertise in successfully treating a wide array of challenging clinical presentations across the lifespan. After several decades working as a highly skilled psychological consultant, I decided to return to graduate school and earn my doctorate in clinical psychology from Hofstra University where I received intensive training in evidence based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapies.

Therapy tends to be collaborative, engaging, nonjudgmental, insightful, empowering, and focused on a strengths based approach towards improvement. I am not only passionate about the process of therapy, but seek to destigmatize and provide psychoeducation about what therapy actually means and its purpose for every individual client. My favorite motto is, "Labels are for soup cans," meaning we shouldn't be reduced as human beings to merely clinical diagnoses but as a work in progress.

Many clients fondly regard me as a highly genuine, caring, empathic psychologist who seeks to understand their condition rather than someone who judges them. My goal is to make clients comfortable and help them become the best version of themselves. Clients typically leave sessions with a new perspective on their lives and acquire healthier ways to manage their concerns in order to gain better outcomes. I am currently not accepting EAP clients.
