Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas at Dallas. Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 20 years working in the medical field, primarily in orthopedics and internal medicine. This experience shaped my understanding of the connection between physical and emotional health and the importance of feeling heard, understood, and supported.

I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, dissociation, relationship challenges, perfectionism, and difficulties with body image and eating behaviors. I have a particular interest in helping individuals who feel overwhelmed by past experiences, struggle with patterns that no longer serve them, or find themselves putting everyone else's needs before their own.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care. I draw from EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, somatic approaches, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed techniques to help clients better understand themselves, process difficult experiences, and develop healthier ways of coping.

What you can expect from me

I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as you are, without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. My goal is to help you feel safe enough to explore your experiences, recognize your strengths, and build a more meaningful and balanced life. Whether you are working through past trauma, navigating a difficult season, or simply wanting to understand yourself better, I would be honored to walk alongside you in that process.
