Dr. Dennis Dorf

As an Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatrist (Physician), I am passionate about empowering all ages on their journey towards mental health and well-being.

I completed a residency in General Psychiatry and fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Georgia's prestigious medical college, one of the oldest medical schools in the nation. This expert, specialized training has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to understand the unique psychological needs of children, adolescents, and adults. I am also a Board Certified Pediatrician and completed residency at NYC’s only academic children’s hospital in Brooklyn, SUNY Downstate. Additionally, I graduated with a Master of Public Health with an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Health Communications from Stony Brook University’s School of Medicine & Journalism - Center for Communicating Science.

Over the years, as a Psychiatrist, I have gained extensive experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions. I additionally believe in a holistic approach to mental health, integrating psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, and therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's needs.

I strongly believe in the power of empathy and understanding in treatment. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space for my patients, where they feel heard, understood, and accepted.

I work collaboratively with my patients and their families, empowering them with the knowledge and skills to manage their mental health.
