Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming at times—especially when stress, anger, anxiety, or past experiences start affecting your day-to-day functioning. As a 50-year-old MSW, LCSW (License Clinical Social Worker) clinician with over 16 years of experience, I bring not only professional expertise but also real-world perspective and compassion to the people I work with. Over the course of my career, some of the places that I have worked within includes a few of the following: Intensive Out Patient hospital, Intensive In-home Counseling, Criminal Justice system, Judicial system, Forensic and Child and Family Protection agency.

My passion is helping adolescents, young adults, and adults find healthier ways to cope, heal, and move forward with confidence. I also enjoy Scuba Diving, Boxing and reading. Whether you’re navigating anger, depression, anxiety, or the lasting impact of trauma, I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can breathe, reflect, and grow.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, and psychoeducation, focusing on helping you understand why you feel what you feel—and more importantly, how to change it. My approach is practical, comprehensive, and tailored to each client’s unique needs.

If you’re looking for someone who is down-to-earth, empathetic, and solutions-oriented, you’ll find my style supportive yet empowering. I balance genuine warmth with evidence-based techniques to help you gain the tools you need to succeed long-term.

For clients who desire it, I can also integrating faith-based principles with therapeutic support while maintaining respect for all beliefs and backgrounds.

I enjoy working with:

  • Teens & Adolescents navigating emotional, social, or school-related challenges
  • Young adults dealing with Anger Management issues, Sleep hygiene concerns, Men issues, life choices, identity, stress, or relationships
  • Adults juggling work, family, burnout, or unresolved emotional struggles

Whether you’re dealing with long-standing issues or something new that’s disrupting your peace, we’ll work together at your pace to create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

After the first session with me, my clients often tell me they appreciate my warmth, honesty, sense of humor, and relatable style. My goal is to make therapy feel approachable—something you should look forward to, not something to feel nervous about.

I prioritize these four things during our first session.

  1. Creating a comfortable, supportive environment.
  2. Understanding your needs and helping you gain practical tools you can use immediately.
  3. Working collaboratively toward your goals.
  4. Respecting your values, identity, and the pace that feels right for you You are not alone—and you don’t have to keep trying to “push through” on your own. Let’s Work Together ! Taking the first step toward therapy can be one of the hardest parts. If you’re ready to make a change—or even if you’re just curious about whether therapy might help—reach out. I’d be honored to support you on your journey.
