Great to meet you!

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Alabama and my Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an Emphasis in Children and Adolescence Disorders from Grand Canyon University. I am currently pursing my Doctorate in Infant and Early Childhood Development with an Emphasis in Mental Health and Neurodiversity at Fielding University. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I specialize in the children and adolescent population. However, I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings with all age groups.

My approach to therapy

My theoretical orientation of choice is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which emphasizes the concept that human emotions and behavior revolve around the way we perceive our individual situations. I approach counseling with empathy, understanding, and honesty to provide a safe space to offer support and gentle challenging when necessary.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to facilitate clients in exploring their own abilities and strengths throughout the therapeutic process and to provide tools to help them face any challenge that arises with confidence.
