My name is Der'Resha Bastien. I am a dog whisperer; I adore vintage clothing and I enjoy event planning. Aside from this, I am an EMDR-trained therapist and LMHC in Florida. I offer a safe space for those who are managing anxiety, depression, or their responses to trauma.
I use a strengths-based approach and collaborate with each client to develop a unique plan to achieve their goals for therapy. Using evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and EMDR I empower my clients to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and live more fulfilling lives.
During each session, your experience is validated and met with compassion. Within a few sessions, you can expect increased awareness of your thoughts and emotions and how they influence the world around you. In the long run, you can gain an increased level of confidence and carry out some of the positive changes you would like to see.
