Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a strong background in both clinical therapy and leadership within the behavioral health and home health fields. Over the years, I’ve worked in roles ranging from direct client care to leadership positions, which has given me a well-rounded understanding of the challenges individuals, couples, and families face in real life—not just in theory.

I specialize in working with men, professionals, couples, and families who are navigating stress, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional burnout. Many of the individuals and couples I work with are used to being strong for others—whether at work, at home, or in their communities—but are looking for a space where they can be supported, understood, and equipped with tools to move forward.

I have a strong focus on supporting men, while also working extensively with women and couples. I am passionate about helping couples strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and reconnect in meaningful ways. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where both individuals and partners feel heard, respected, and empowered in their growth and healing journey.

My approach to therapy is practical, supportive, and goal-oriented. I focus on helping clients and couples build clarity, develop healthier coping strategies, improve communication, and create meaningful, lasting change. I aim to provide a space where you feel both supported and challenged in a productive way.

For those who desire it, I also offer faith-informed counseling, integrating Christian principles into the therapeutic process in a way that aligns with each client’s values and beliefs.

My goal is to walk alongside you as you work toward growth, healing, stronger relationships, and a greater sense of purpose.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is supportive, practical, and goal-oriented. I believe therapy should not only be a place to talk, but a space where real growth, clarity, and change take place. I work collaboratively with clients to understand their challenges, identify patterns, and develop tools they can apply in their everyday lives.

I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and person-centered techniques, while tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of the individual or couple. My goal is to provide both support and structure—helping clients feel heard while also gently challenging them to move forward.

In my work with individuals, I focus on areas such as stress, anxiety, life transitions, and emotional burnout. I also have a strong focus on helping men navigate pressure, responsibility, and personal growth, while creating a safe and empowering space for women to process, heal, and thrive.

When working with couples, I focus on improving communication, rebuilding trust, resolving conflict, and helping partners reconnect. I strive to create a balanced environment where both individuals feel respected, understood, and supported as we work toward healthier relationship patterns.

For clients who are open to it, I offer faith-informed counseling, integrating Christian principles into the therapeutic process in a way that aligns with their values and supports their overall growth.

Overall, my approach is to meet you where you are, while helping you move toward where you want to be—with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a relaxed, welcoming environment where we focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, background, and what you’re hoping to gain from the process, but there’s no pressure to share everything all at once—we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and get a feel for how I work. Building a strong, trusting relationship is important, so I want to make sure you feel heard, respected, and supported from the very beginning.

We’ll begin identifying key areas to focus on and, when appropriate, start outlining goals for therapy. Whether you’re coming in as an individual or as a couple, I aim to provide both clarity and direction, so you leave the first session with a better understanding of next steps.

For couples, we’ll focus on understanding the dynamics of the relationship, hearing from both partners, and identifying patterns that may be contributing to current challenges—while ensuring both individuals feel equally supported.

My goal for the first session is simple: to create a space where you feel comfortable, gain insight into your situation, and leave with a sense of hope and direction moving forward.
