Great to meet you!

I focus on collaboration and fostering a warm, nonjudgmental relationship by meeting clients where they are and adapting treatment to fit individual needs. I have had to pleasure to work in a variety of environments from a college counseling center to community mental health centers to inpatient facilities. Throughout my education and training I have focused my work on relational issues and concerns around identity.

My approach to therapy

My approach is that no two people are the same and, as such, the course of therapy will be different depending on someone's concerns and their personality. Some people need to be serious, some need to laugh, and some people just need a place to cry. What ss important to all is developing a trusting relationship focused on encouragement and solutions, so that is what how I approach everyone. I specialize in relationship concerns, sexual dysfunction, anxiety, and depression

What you can expect from me

Goals are always subject to change, so they should be approached as such. I believe the goals need to measurable, realistic, and specific, that way they can be tracked and acknowledged without overwhelming clients. My clients know themselves more than anyone, so someone's goals are theirs to create and mine to manage. I also create space to change and drop goals if we feel that they have been attained or are no longer relevant to their current situation.
