Great to meet you!

My nursing background has allowed me to care for individuals with a wide range of medical and mental health needs across various healthcare settings. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to treating the whole person—not just their diagnosis. I believe that every individual deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion in a safe, nonjudgmental environment. I earned advanced nursing education with specialized training in psychiatric and mental health care, enabling me to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of mental health conditions. My practice includes comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, supportive therapy, patient education, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide individualized, holistic care. I work with clients who experience anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, stress, insomnia, and other mood and behavioral health concerns. My treatment approach is collaborative and tailored to each person's unique experiences, goals, and strengths. I combine evidence-based treatment with empathy, active listening, and shared decision-making to help my clients achieve lasting improvements in their mental health and overall quality of life. Whether you are seeking support for a new concern or continuing your mental health journey, my goal is to create a welcoming space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that supports your well-being, helps you build resilience, restores balance, and enables you to reach your fullest potential.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and patient-centered. I believe that effective mental health treatment begins with building a trusting relationship where you feel safe, respected, and heard. I recognize that every person's experiences, challenges, and goals are unique, so I take the time to understand your story without judgment.

I employ a holistic, evidence-based approach that considers the interconnectedness of your mental, emotional, physical, and social well-being. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, supportive therapy, lifestyle modifications, coping strategies, and coordination with other healthcare providers when appropriate.

I believe in shared decision-making, where you are an active partner in your care. My role is to provide education, guidance, and evidence-based recommendations while respecting your values, preferences, and treatment goals. My goal is to empower you with the tools and support needed to improve your mental health, build resilience, and enhance your overall quality of life

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you will find a welcoming and judgment-free environment. We will focus on understanding what brings you to treatment by discussing your concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, medications, and lifestyle. I will learn about your strengths, support system, and treatment goals. Together, we’ll complete a psychiatric evaluation, discuss any relevant diagnoses, and create a personalized treatment plan, which may include medication management, therapy, coping strategies, or referrals. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, respected, and hopeful, with a clear understanding of the next steps. Feel free to ask questions throughout the session as we build a strong therapeutic partnership.
