Great to meet you!

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, especially when you have spent a long time handling things on your own. I work with adolescents, adults, and seniors who are dealing with anxiety, anger that feels hard to control, the highs and lows of bipolar disorder, and the lasting effects of trauma. You do not have to navigate this alone. My role is to listen closely, encourage you, and help you build practical tools and strategies that hold up in everyday life, while honoring your autonomy every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

Our work together is collaborative and shaped around your needs, values, and goals rather than a one size fits all plan. If anxiety keeps you bracing for the next thing to go wrong, or anger is showing up faster and bigger than you want it to, we will slow things down together and get clear on what is driving it. You will walk away understanding yourself better, with strategies you can actually use in the moment and a stronger hold on the strengths you already have, even the ones that feel out of reach right now. I bring compassion and curiosity to every session, and I take your confidentiality seriously. People who do well with me want honesty and reflection, and are ready to turn insight into change that lasts.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to counseling. We will go over what is on your mind right now, some of your history, your strengths, and what you hope to get out of therapy. I will walk you through how counseling works, review confidentiality, answer any questions you have, and work with you on an initial plan that fits your needs. We move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. If you are looking for a counselor who will listen with care, respect your individuality, and support your personal growth, I would be honored to be part of your journey.
