Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming when you're carrying anxiety, past wounds, relationship stress, or the pressure of trying to stay strong for everyone else. Many of the clients I work with are exhausted from holding it all together while silently navigating trauma, family dynamics, or internal battles they don’t fully understand.

I specialize in working with teens and adults impacted by trauma, emotional overwhelm, identity struggles, and relational stress. Together, we gently explore how past experiences shape present reactions, helping you move from survival patterns into greater emotional safety and self-understanding.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in both evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care. When desired, I also integrate faith into the healing process. For many, faith can be a source of strength, meaning, and restoration, especially when trauma has impacted trust, identity, or one’s sense of safety in the world.

In our work together, you can expect support in:

  • understanding trauma responses and triggers
  • regulating anxiety and overwhelming emotions
  • rebuilding your sense of voice and self-worth
  • developing healthy boundaries
  • processing pain without shame
  • reconnecting with hope and purpose

For those who wish, we can incorporate Christian faith into therapy in a way that is respectful, empowering, and never forced, recognizing that healing can involve both emotional work and spiritual restoration.

Clients often share that they feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported in our sessions. Therapy is not about fixing you, it’s about helping you heal, grow, and move forward with clarity and strength.

If you're looking for a space that is warm, nonjudgmental, trauma-informed, and open to faith-based healing, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, trauma-informed, and collaborative. I believe healing happens in a safe, supportive relationship where clients feel truly seen —not judged, rushed, or “fixed.”

I integrate evidence-based practices such as:

  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to help clients understand patterns between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors
  • DBT-informed skills to support emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and healthy communication
  • Trauma-informed care to gently process past experiences and reduce survival-based reactions
  • Attachment and relational work to explore how early relationships impact current functioning

At the same time, I recognize that healing is not just cognitive, it is emotional, relational, and sometimes spiritual.

For clients who desire it, I offer faith-integrated therapy, respectfully incorporating Christian values as a source of strength, meaning, and restoration.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, many clients come in unsure of what to say or worried about being judged. Your first session with me is designed to feel safe, supportive, and pressure-free.

We’ll begin by talking about what brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping might feel different in your life. You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear story; we move at your pace.

In this session, you can expect:

  • A warm, welcoming space where you can speak openly
  • Time to share your experiences, concerns, and goals
  • Gentle exploration of patterns, stressors, or past experiences that may be impacting you
  • An opportunity to ask questions about the therapy process

We may begin identifying helpful coping strategies right away, especially if you're feeling overwhelmed or stuck.

My goal in the first session is not to dive into everything all at once, but to help you feel understood and begin building a foundation of safety and trust.

For clients who desire it, faith can be respectfully integrated into the process, but this is always led by you.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer sense of direction and what working together may look like moving forward.
