Great to meet you!

My work lives at the intersection of physical and emotional health. For years I've worked in hospital and medical settings, walking alongside adults who were navigating some of the hardest news of their lives — a cancer diagnosis, a chronic illness that wasn't going away, or the exhaustion of caring for a loved one who was seriously ill. I understand that your body and your mind are not separate things. When one is struggling, the other feels it too. I work with adults — from young adults through seniors — who are trying to make sense of what a health crisis means for their life, their relationships, and their sense of self. If you're a patient adjusting to a diagnosis, a caregiver running on empty, or a family member searching for footing in uncertain terrain, this is a space built for you.

My approach to therapy

I meet you where you are. Some days that means slowing down to sit with the feelings you've been pushing past — the grief, the fear, the anger that comes with a health crisis no one prepared you for. Other days it means zooming out and asking: what's one thing that could feel more manageable by next week? I blend different ways of working depending on what's actually useful for you right now. I'm not attached to a formula, I'm dedicated to supporting you making progress.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation, not an evaluation. I want to understand what's brought you here, what you're carrying day to day, and what you're hoping changes. You don't need to arrive with the right words or a clear sense of what's wrong. We'll figure that out together. I'll share what I'm noticing and what might be useful, and we'll talk honestly about whether working together feels like a good fit. My goal is that you leave that first session feeling heard — and a little less alone in whatever you're facing.
