Great to meet you!

Clients should know that I am a compassionate, nonjudgmental therapist who values authenticity, collaboration, and emotional safety. I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore their experiences at their own pace. I believe clients are the experts of their own lives, and my role is to support them with evidence-based tools, curiosity, and care while honoring their strengths, culture, and values. I am direct yet gentle, and I prioritize building trust so clients feel supported as they work toward meaningful and sustainable change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each individual. I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I focus on creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore challenges, build self-awareness, and develop practical tools for lasting change. I believe therapy should be both compassionate and goal-oriented, meeting clients where they are while supporting growth at a pace that feels right for them.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming and supportive space where we focus on getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, background, and current challenges, but there is no pressure to share anything you’re not ready to discuss. We’ll also review confidentiality, answer any questions you may have, and begin identifying next steps that feel manageable and aligned with your needs. My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and supported.
