Great to meet you!

Seeking support is a brave and meaningful step, and I want to honor the courage it takes to be here. Grounded in trauma-informed care and the healing power of connection, I walk alongside clients with warmth and curiosity as they rediscover safety, resilience, and a stronger sense of self.

My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by both personal and professional experiences that deepened my understanding of trauma, resilience, and the importance of meaningful support. I’ve worked with diverse populations in various settings where my focus was on supporting healing through a trauma-informed lens. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work degree from Baylor University, where I completed the clinical track and earned a certificate in trauma-informed care.

I provide therapy for adults, teens, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, mood disorders, and complex relationship dynamics. In addition to individual work, I support parents and co-parents in strengthening communication and collaboration to promote healthier family systems.

My approach to therapy

My approach is strengths-based, client-centered, and collaborative. I integrate trauma-informed and relational practices to create a space where you can bring your full, authentic self. Together, we’ll explore your experiences, notice patterns, and build on your strengths to support healing and growth.

I value honesty, openness, humor, and trust, and I view the therapeutic relationship as an essential tool for change. My communication style is warm, direct, and nonjudgmental—I listen with curiosity, welcome feedback, and use humor thoughtfully when it feels supportive.

Goal-setting is a collaborative process. We’ll identify what matters most to you, create meaningful goals, and check in regularly to celebrate progress and make adjustments along the way. My hope is that you feel supported, understood, and empowered throughout our work together.

What you can expect from me

Our first session focuses on beginning to build comfort and developing an understanding of what brings you to therapy. We’ll review confidentiality, gather background information, and begin developing goals to help guide our work together. Because there’s often a lot to cover, first sessions can take up to two hours, though I do my best to keep them under that when possible.

You can expect a collaborative, compassionate space where I’ll ask questions to understand your history, strengths, and current challenges. While I gather important information to guide treatment, I don’t rush the process and will check in along the way to ensure you feel comfortable. If we’re meeting as a family or co-parents, I’ll help keep the focus on communication and your child’s wellbeing.

My hope is that you leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and clear about our next steps.
