Destiney Tisdale

Hey guys! My name is Destiney Walker, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based out of Richmond, Virginia. I am a 29-year-old country girl from a small town called Brodnax, Virginia. I completed my undergraduate degree at VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University) in Psychology and Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies in 2015. I returned to VCU in 2016 to obtain my Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work. In 2021 I obtained my LCSW and began practicing outpatient care with adults in Virginia.

As a young lady who came from humble beginnings, I understand that we will face obstacles that we may not believe we are equipped to handle. My goal is to provide individuals with the mental tools they need to address their emotional needs, with a splash of tough love and accountability to push you to the next level to achieve your goals. I believe that there is nothing you cannot accomplish the right mind set, work ethic, and mental tools.

Client's can expect to take away from sessions a sense of autonomy over their lives and increased confidence that they have the ability to manage any obstacles that come their way.
