Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Destiny Pettway, LCSW, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with SCCS Therapy & Wellness!

Life can be hard, and sometimes you just need someone who will truly listen and understand. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, struggling with anxiety or depression, dealing with grief, having relationship problems, or going through a major life change, you don't have to figure it all out alone.

I believe therapy should be a place where you can be yourself, speak freely, and feel supported without judgment. My approach is warm, honest, and down-to-earth. I'm here to listen, but also to help you find real ways to work through challenges, build confidence, and feel more in control of your life.

You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Come as you are, and we'll take it one step at a time. My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and hopeful about what's ahead.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is more than just talking about your problems. It's about feeling heard, understanding yourself better, and finding ways to make life a little easier.

My approach is warm, honest, and supportive. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship struggles, or simply feeling overwhelmed, I'm here to help you work through it without judgment.

We'll talk about what's been weighing on you, figure out what's keeping you stuck, and find healthy ways to handle life's challenges. I'll listen, offer honest feedback, and help you build the confidence to make changes that feel right for you.

You don't have to face everything alone. My goal is to help you feel stronger, more confident, and better prepared for whatever life brings your way.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel a little overwhelming, especially if it's your first time, but I want you to feel comfortable from the moment we meet.

Our first session is all about getting to know you! We'll talk about what's been going on in your life, what's been weighing on you, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy.

There's no pressure to share everything at once or have all the answers. You can be yourself, ask questions, and open up at your own pace.

My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, understood, supported, and hopeful about what's ahead. You don't have to figure everything out alone. We'll take it one step at a time, together!
