Great to meet you!

I earned my Master’s degree from Walden University and have experience working with a wide variety of individuals, families, and adolescents across different treatment settings and specialties. Throughout my career, I have supported clients navigating emotional regulation difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, family conflict, self-esteem challenges, communication issues, and life transitions.

My clinical approach is strongly influenced by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I enjoy helping clients identify unhealthy thought patterns, improve coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others. I also understand that every client is unique, so I tailor treatment to fit each individual’s specific needs, personality, and goals.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, I believe growth happens through honesty, accountability, and genuine connection. My approach is warm, open-minded, and participatory, while also being direct and challenging when needed. I am not the kind of therapist who simply nods along — I actively engage with clients, ask difficult questions, and help identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck.

I strive to create a space where clients feel safe being fully themselves without judgment. Therapy with me is collaborative; we work together to build insight, improve emotional regulation, strengthen communication, and create meaningful change. I value authenticity and transparency, and I encourage clients to show up honestly so we can address the root of challenges rather than just the symptoms.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can feel comfortable being honest and fully themselves. I value transparency and active participation in the therapeutic process, and I work to ensure clients feel both heard and empowered throughout treatment. While I provide warmth and support, I also encourage accountability, self-reflection, and growth.

Some of the common goals I help clients work toward include improving emotional regulation, increasing self-awareness, building confidence, strengthening communication skills, managing anxiety and stress, establishing healthy boundaries, processing trauma, and developing healthier coping strategies. My overall goal is to help clients feel more balanced, empowered, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and clarity.
