Great to meet you!

Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or impacted by past experiences that continue to show up in the present? I believe healing happens within relationships that feel safe, affirming, and genuine. My work is trauma-informed and grounded in the belief that people are not broken—they are responding to what they’ve lived through. Together, we focus on reducing the impact of past experiences while building practical tools to help you cope more fully in the here and now.

With 8 years of masters-level experience and current enrollment as a PhD student, I specialize in a wide range of concerns, with particular focus on depression, anxiety, bipolar, borderline personality, post-traumatic stress, substance use, and compulsive gambling disorders. I have expertise supporting the LGBTQ+ community, healthcare workers, first responders and justice-involved individuals.

My approach to therapy

I have advanced training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and I am an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist, allowing me to offer both skills-based and trauma-focused care. At the core of my work, however, is a person-centered and holistic approach that honors your unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

People often come to me feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to move forward. My role is to offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can explore what’s getting in the way and begin creating meaningful change—at a pace that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my priority is creating a safe, supportive space where you can begin exploring difficult emotions at your own pace. I focus on understanding and validating your experiences in a way that feels respectful and grounding. We’ll also spend time identifying goals that align with your vision for therapy, and, if our relationship feels like a good fit, we’ll discuss next steps and schedule a follow-up session.
