Great to meet you!

I am a dually licensed professional, holding credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). My career spans over 15 years of dedicated work with children and families, providing me with a deep understanding of developmental and systemic dynamics. Building on this foundation, I have spent years working with adults, focusing on skill-building to enhance their sense of fulfillment and productivity. My therapeutic approach is grounded in short-term, solution-focused interventions and behavior therapy principles, with a strong integration of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques. I am committed to supporting adults in effectively navigating the stressors of daily life and achieving their personal goals.

My approach to therapy

I believe in a collaborative and active approach to therapy. As an LPC and BCBA with experience working with both children, families, and adults, I tailor my methods to your individual needs and goals. My foundation lies in behavior therapy, which focuses on understanding the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I often incorporate techniques from CBT to help identify and modify unhelpful thought patterns. Because I also specialize in short-term, solution-focused therapy, we'll work together to identify specific, achievable goals and develop practical steps to get you there. For my adult clients, this often involves building skills to better manage everyday stressors and create a more productive and satisfying life.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to gain practical skills and strategies to better understand and manage their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Because I utilize a solution-focused and behavior therapy approach with CBT techniques, you'll learn concrete tools to address your specific challenges and work towards your goals. For adults, this often translates into improved coping mechanisms for daily stressors and a clearer path towards a more fulfilling and productive life.
