Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor dedicated to creating a safe, judgment-free space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship issues, family concerns, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and moments where they feel stuck or unsure how to move forward. I value trust, openness, and real human connection. My goal is to make sure therapy feels useful, not robotic — a place where you can talk honestly, feel respected, and leave with tangible next steps for the issues you are facing. I believe therapy should help you better understand yourself while also giving you practical tools to create meaningful change in daily life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is first and foremost person-centered, meaning I shape our work around your needs, goals, comfort level, and pace. If you know what you want from therapy, we will build from there. If you are unsure, we will explore what feels most important and identify a direction together. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand thought patterns, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support values-based change, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills when emotional regulation or coping tools are needed. I may also integrate Family Systems, Solution-Focused Therapy, movement, and music when they fit your needs. My style is warm, playful, comforting, collaborative, and practical, while still focused on helping you make real progress.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, comforting, and down-to-earth environment where you do not have to feel judged or “figured out” right away. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, what has been feeling difficult, and what you hope will change over time. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship issues, family concerns, life transitions, or emotional overwhelm, we will begin identifying goals and discussing a treatment plan that feels realistic and supportive. Too often, people meet professionals who feel robotic or seem like they are not truly listening. I try every day to break that stereotype by showing up as a real person who listens, cares, and helps you find a way forward.
