Devynn Mielke

My name is Devynn and I am excited to join you on your therapy journey! I hold a Master of Social Work degree and a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Colorado State University, and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the State of Colorado. I have been working in the mental health field as a social worker for the last 10 years. I have extensive experience working with individuals working to overcome adversity from abuse, neglect, and addiction. I also have a lot of experience in the healthcare field, including supporting individuals and family members coping with terminal illness, end-of-life transitions, addiction, and chronic pain.

My approach to mental wellness is built upon a fundamental belief that every person is capable and deserving of love, compassion, and success. Using warmth, humor, and honesty, I am committed to creating an environment that is free of judgement where you feel comfortable being your authentic selves. My goal is to empower you to achieve their full potential and support them to create meaningful change in your life using your natural strengths and resiliency. We are in this together, and you are the expert in your own life!

I always start with an initial session where we discuss your history and issues that brought you to therapy. It is important to me that you feel comfortable sharing, so I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment. My goal is to collaborate with you on developing a treatment plan to address the issues that are impacting you the most. From there, we will work on these goals in our sessions.
