Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Dewanna Lewis, a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience providing mental health services across community mental health, behavioral health, forensic, and outpatient settings. Throughout my career, I have worked with adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My professional background includes conducting clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, supporting individuals involved in complex systems of care, and helping clients navigate difficult periods of change. I am committed to creating a space where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered as they work toward their personal goals.

My approach to therapy

I provide a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore challenges, gain insight, and build practical tools for growth. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, stress management, relationship concerns, and supporting individuals navigating family, cultural, and identity-related experiences. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where they can share their concerns at their own pace. During the first session, we'll discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your personal history, identify current challenges, and begin establishing goals that align with your needs and priorities. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported while creating a clear path forward for our work together.
