Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a space where you can be honest, feel understood, and show up as your full self without fear of judgment. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I bring a warm, compassionate, and culturally responsive approach to my work. I recognize that every person’s experiences, relationships, culture, and environment shape how they navigate life.

My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel comfortable being vulnerable while also feeling supported and encouraged to grow. I’m not here to tell you how to live your life. I’m here to help you better understand yourself, navigate challenges, and make intentional decisions that align with the life you want to create. I also believe that sometimes therapy requires both validation and gentle accountability, and I’ll provide both when appropriate.

I’m a firm believer that healing doesn’t always have to feel heavy. I value humor, authenticity, family, and genuine connection, and those parts of who I am naturally show up in the way I build relationships with my clients. When I’m outside of the therapy room, you can probably find me spending time with family and friends, enjoying my guilty pleasure of hot chips, or binge-watching shows like Love Is Blind. I believe there’s value in finding moments of joy, laughter, and connection even while doing the deeper work of healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, person-centered, and grounded in the understanding that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. I take the time to understand not only what you’re experiencing, but also the relationships, experiences, beliefs, and environments that may be influencing how you feel and respond.

I integrate different therapeutic approaches based on your individual needs and goals. Our work may involve exploring patterns in relationships, developing healthier coping strategies, challenging unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, processing difficult experiences, or gaining greater insight into yourself.

I want therapy to be a place where you can gain insight while also learning practical tools that you can use outside of our sessions. Most importantly, we’ll work together to determine what feels helpful and meaningful for you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, your goals, and areas of your life that may be affecting your overall well-being.

You can expect a conversational and supportive environment rather than feeling like you’re being interrogated or judged. We’ll talk about what you hope to get out of therapy and begin identifying where we may want to focus our work together.

You do not have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You can come exactly as you are, and we’ll take it from there. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and clear about what our work together can look like.
