Great to meet you!

I am a Bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with diverse populations. Starting your healing journey can seem overwhelming and lonely. My aim is to walk alongside and help you gain a better understanding of how your experiences have impacted the way you approach life. I believe in a person centered approach as you are the expert of your life and your life experiences, so collaborative we will write your new narrative.

My approach to therapy

I believe in a person centered approach as you are the expert of your life and your life experiences, so collaborative we will write your new narrative. My role is to help you see the mind and body connection by offering a safe space designed to increase authenticity and vulnerability, deepen self-awareness, and find balance in your life. Together we will challenge false narratives, and limiting beliefs that contribute to the ongoing contemplation of starting your journey.

What you can expect from me

Everyone’s healing journey is unique, so together we will develop coping skills based on your individual needs. My approach is warm, strength-based, and collaborative. I commonly use principles and techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Trauma resiliency model, somatic work for nervous system regulation and Mindfulness techniques.
