Great to meet you!

I'm Diamond! A therapist who believes healing doesn't always have to feel so heavy. I bring an open mind to help young adults and adults working through mood, anxiety, eating, and trauma-related disorders. I earned both my Bachelors and Masters in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and have extensive experience treating high-acuity clients in inpatient and outpatient settings. My style is direct but compassionate, blending CPT, CBT, DBT, IPT, REBT, and Family Systems approaches to create real, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I'm a therapist who likes to keep it real -- growth takes courage, but we don't have to be serious every second. I bring humor, honesty, and an open mind into the room, helping clients feel seen and supported while we tackle life's messier parts. My goal is to create a space where you can explore, laugh, and make meaningful changes at your own pace.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a relaxed and honest conversation focused on getting to know you -- not just your symptoms, but your story. I'll ask questions to understand what's been weighing on you and what you'd like to change, while also sharing how I work so you can decide if it's a good fit. My approach is straightforward but compassionate, and I like to keep things grounded (with a touch of humor when it helps). By the end, you'll have a clearer sense of what therapy with me looks like and a direction for moving forward.
