Great to meet you!

Many people come to therapy because they notice the same patterns showing up in different areas of their life—relationships, emotions, stress, or self-doubt—and they’re ready to understand why those patterns keep repeating.

I’m Diamond, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who takes a holistic and culturally responsive approach to therapy. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, stress, identity concerns, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My work focuses on helping clients understand how their emotional experiences are shaped not just by thoughts or behaviors, but also by relationships, environment, culture, and lived experience.

My goal is to help you get to the root of what’s going on so you can begin to make meaningful, lasting changes in how you feel, relate, and move through life. Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and focused on both insight and practical growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach is relational, systems-oriented, and grounded in understanding the full context of your life. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family systems approaches, strengths-based work, and culturally responsive practices to support clients in identifying patterns that may be keeping them stuck.

Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we explore how your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and environment interact over time. For many clients, this includes understanding long-standing relational patterns, family dynamics, or identity-related stress that may be influencing how they respond to current challenges.

Together, we work not only toward insight, but also toward change that feels realistic and sustainable. This may include improving communication in relationships, setting healthier boundaries, reducing emotional overwhelm, or developing new ways of responding to stress.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on what has been feeling most challenging and what you would like to be different in your life. You do not need to have everything clearly organized before starting therapy. We will take time to understand your experiences together and begin identifying meaningful goals.

Many clients come in feeling stuck in repetitive emotional or relational patterns, overwhelmed by stress, or unsure how to move forward despite knowing something needs to change. Over time, clients often notice greater clarity about their emotions, improved communication in relationships, and a stronger sense of control over how they respond to stress and conflict.

My goal is for therapy to feel like a space where you can better understand yourself in context, break unhelpful cycles, and build healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

If you are looking for a therapist who helps you understand the deeper patterns behind your experiences and supports you in creating real, lasting change in your relationships and emotional life, I would be glad to work with you.
