Great to meet you!

I’m a bilingual psychotherapist in New York, working in English and Chinese. I work with people who have been holding things together for a long time and are ready to set some of it down: whether they are in the middle of things falling apart, in recovery, or navigating in-between spaces: between cultures, past, and future. You don’t have to have it figured out to begin. We start with where you are.

My approach to therapy

In our sessions, I listen for what’s said and what isn’t, including the exhaustion beneath the functioning, and the parts that have learned to stay quiet. I draw from relational, somatic, and psychodynamic approaches, adapting to what you need in the moment, and integrate spiritual or Eastern perspectives when relevant. We work with thoughts, emotions, and the body together, allowing deeper words to emerge. Over time, we make sense of how your experiences have shaped you, honor what has helped you to get this far, and find a different way to contain what you have been carrying.

What you can expect from me

If you are curious whether this may be a good fit, I offer a consultation to explore what brings you here, what has been difficult, and what you are hoping for. From there, we can see whether this feels like the right place for you.
