Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) with four years of clinical experience providing outpatient behavioral health services in a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) setting. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, borderline personality disorder, emotional dysregulation, psychosis, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, self-esteem concerns, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. My clinical background includes intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, and group psychotherapy. I also facilitate psychoeducational and skills-based therapy groups and incorporate creative, expressive arts interventions to increase engagement and support skill development.

My therapeutic style is compassionate, authentic, and approachable — I strive to balance warmth with accountability so that clients feel understood, respected, and empowered. I believe every person has inherent strengths and the capacity for meaningful growth, and I am committed to meeting you exactly where you are.

My approach to therapy

I provide a collaborative, trauma-informed, strengths-based approach that is tailored to each person's unique needs and goals. My work draws on a range of evidence-based methods, including DBT, CBT, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, parts work, and expressive arts interventions. I emphasize practical skill-building alongside deeper exploration — helping clients develop insight, increase emotional resilience, and create lasting change.

At the heart of my approach is the belief that meaningful change happens within a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, collaboration, and respect. My goal is to help you build a life that aligns with your personal values, not just manage symptoms. I bring both structure and creativity to my work, adapting my methods to what will be most effective and engaging for you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I will ask questions to better understand what brings you to therapy, your personal history, your strengths, and what you are hoping to achieve. I approach this initial conversation with curiosity and without judgment — there are no right or wrong answers, and you are always in control of what you share and when.

By the end of our first session, we will begin to identify your goals and collaboratively discuss how we might work together. My priority is that you leave feeling heard, respected, and with a clearer sense of what our work together could look like. Therapy is a partnership, and I want you to feel comfortable asking questions and sharing feedback throughout our work together.
