Great to meet you!

If addiction, trauma, or anxiety has taken the wheel of your life, you don't have to white-knuckle it alone. Maybe you've tried to stop before, or the past keeps resurfacing. Whatever brought you here, change is still possible.

I'm Diana, a Licensed Professional Counselor with 13+ years in substance use counseling and several more in mental health. I've directed a treatment program and served nearly a decade as a drug court liaison, walking with people through addiction, recovery, and rebuilding.

I work with adults facing substance use and alcohol or drug addiction, PTSD and trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger, and relationship strain. Many feel stuck between who they've been and who they want to be — worn down by relapse, stress, or doubt.

It is. My role is to help you get honest about what isn't working, build tools that hold up in real life, and move forward with confidence.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is active, honest, and grounded in what works. Rather than one-size-fits-all, I draw from several evidence-based approaches tailored to your goals.

When motivation feels shaky, Motivational Interviewing helps you reconnect with your own reasons for change. To interrupt the thoughts and habits that fuel anxiety, substance use, and relapse, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and practical between-session strategies. For concrete problems, Solution-Focused and Problem-Solving Therapy help us map realistic next steps.

My style is direct but warm — I'll ask real questions, name what I notice, and keep you accountable in a way that's supportive, not shaming. We set goals together and adjust as we go.

People change when they feel respected and understood, not judged. Whatever your history, I'll help you build insight and move toward a steadier, more confident life

What you can expect from me

Over time, the people I work with notice real, tangible shifts. Cravings and relapse urges get easier to ride out. The anxiety that once ran the day begins to quiet. Anger becomes a signal you can work with, not something that erupts. Strained relationships start to steady.

In our first session, there's no pressure to share everything at once. We'll talk about what brought you here and what you want your life to look like, then start building a realistic plan.

You can expect me to show up consistently, tell you the truth with compassion, and keep your goals at the center. You've already done the hardest part by considering therapy. From here, we move forward one honest step at a time.
