Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m Didi (she/her). I work as a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor based in San Diego and offer telehealth services throughout California. My work centers on supporting individuals as they heal from trauma, navigate anxiety and depression, and move through life transitions with greater clarity and self-compassion. I’m passionate about providing culturally responsive care to BIPOC and immigrant communities, first-generation clients, LGBTQIA+ individuals, survivors of sexual and/or domestic violence, parents of children impacted by sexual abuse, & those working to heal from childhood trauma.

My approach to therapy

I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Narrative, Attachment, Somatic and Mindfulness techniques to create a tailored, holistic experience.

Oftentimes my approach to working with clients who have experienced trauma is exploring, normalizing related symptoms, identifying triggers, tracking sensory input and responses, processing emotions, developing skills to increase feeling grounded and safer in their surroundings/body so they may feel more in tune with the present moment, and engaging in compassionate and re-integration practices.

What you can expect from me

My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a safe enough space where you can show up exactly as you are—tears, laughter, uncertainty, and all. Whether this is your first time seeking support or you’re returning to therapy, I honor your courage in taking this step. I’m here to support and walk alongside you in your healing journey.
