Great to meet you!

For the past 13yrs as a Licensed Professional Counselor, my experience has included, working with bereaved children/families, conducting groups in a partial hospitalization program and working with individuals, couples, families in private practice. I work with a diverse group of clients that include people suffering with Anxiety, Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder, and relationship difficulties, to name a few.

My approach to therapy

I incorporate several theoretical approaches to the complex issues that clients present. I approach each client as an individual and tailor my effort to the clients’ unique set of circumstances. I work with individual adults, families and adolescents. As a native of South Texas, I am very aware of peculiar experiences that this region can afford and the value of an approach that takes into consideration those multicultural components.

What you can expect from me

I believe in creating a trusting, nonjudgemental and dynamic environment that amplifies strengths and examines unhelpful patterns that are no longer serving you. Together, we will work to examine these patterns and shift them by creating new ways of coping and enhance adaptability. My therapeutic style is active in conversation, while being supportive and collaborative, striving to help client's navigate the challenges they face and equip them with the tools they need to reach their goals.
