I would describe my style as warm, grounded, and collaborative. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable showing up as themselves. My approach is compassionate and reflective while also helping clients build insight, practical coping skills, and meaningful change. I value authenticity, mindfulness, and meeting clients where they are, while encouraging growth at a pace that feels manageable and supportive.
I’m Diana Lapp, LCSW, and I specialize in supporting adults navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, ADHD, self-doubt, and life transitions. I have over 20 years in social service and mental health settings. My work combines traditional psychotherapy with mindfulness and nature-informed approaches, helping clients reconnect with themselves, feel more grounded, and move toward a more balanced and meaningful life. I offer virtual therapy in New Jersey, Florida, and South Carolina, as well as Walk & Talk therapy in Middlesex County, NJ.
My passion for nature and mental health inspired me to integrate outdoor and mindfulness-based experiences into my practice. As an avid hiker and certified forest therapy practitioner, I understand the healing power of slowing down, movement, reflection, and connection with the natural world.

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe therapy should feel like a supportive space where you can slow down, reflect, and explore your experiences without judgment. I work with adults, especially women, who may be navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, ADHD, self-doubt, and life transitions.
I integrate traditional talk therapy with mindfulness, strengths-based approaches, and nature-informed practices to help clients build insight, improve coping skills, and reconnect with themselves in meaningful ways. Together, we focus on increasing self-awareness, developing healthier patterns, and creating realistic, sustainable change at a pace that feels supportive and manageable.
I also offer Walk & Talk therapy, which combines movement and time outdoors with the therapeutic process for clients who feel more grounded, open, or connected in nature. Whether we meet virtually or outdoors, my goal is to create a warm, authentic environment where clients feel supported, empowered, and understood.
Clients can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where they are encouraged to show up as themselves. During the first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other, exploring what brings you to therapy, discussing your current challenges, and identifying the goals or changes you hope to work toward.
I understand that starting therapy can feel vulnerable or overwhelming, so I aim to create a space that feels grounded, collaborative, and comfortable. Together, we’ll begin identifying patterns, strengths, coping strategies, and areas where you may feel stuck or disconnected. We’ll also discuss what approach feels most supportive for you, whether through virtual therapy or Walk & Talk sessions.
My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer understanding of how therapy can help them move toward greater balance, self-awareness, and meaningful change.
I offer insurance-covered telehealth sessions for clients in New Jersey and self-pay Walk & Talk therapy sessions in Middlesex County, NJ.
