Great to meet you!

My practice focuses on teletherapy for adults and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues and health-related eating and weight concerns.

My professional background includes decades of work with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, and adjustment difficulties. I have worked in both private practice and clinical settings, which has given me a grounded, real-world understanding of the issues people face at different stages of life.

My clients often tell me they appreciate that I'm actively engaged, honest, and collaborative. I believe therapy should feel safe but also purposeful. Together, we focus on understanding what's getting in the way and identifying practical steps that support emotional clarity, resilience, and personal growth.

I primarily work with couples and adults who are experiencing challenges with relationship clarification, communication, anxiety, phobias, and depression. I also support clients who are working on health-related behavioral changes, including stress eating, emotional eating, and developing sustainable routines that support overall well-being. My style is affirming and respectful while also encouraging insight, accountability, and forward movement.

I welcome clients across Indiana, including those seeking therapy for the first time as well as those returning to therapy with clear goals in mind. My aim is to create a steady, supportive space where clients feel understood, dashed, and empowered to make changes that last.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, direct, and solution-oriented. I provide a supportive, respectful place where clients feel understood while also being actively guided toward meaningful change. Therapy with me is collaborative and purposeful, focused on gaining insight into patterns that contribute to distress and developing practical strategies that can be used in everyday life.

With over 35 years of clinical experience, I integrate evidence-based practices with a holistic understanding of each client's emotional history, relationships, and life circumstances. I work primarily with adults and offer limited couples therapy, addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transition, stress, and relationship challenges.

I believe effective therapy balances compassion with clarity. My goal is to help clients build resilience, confidence, and momentum toward lasting improvement.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my focus is on helping you feel comfortable, heard, and understood. We will spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, what you are hoping to change, and any concerns or questions you may have about the process. There is no pressure to share more than you are ready to share.

I will ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences, history, and current stressors, while also listening carefully to what feels most important to you. Together, we will begin to identify goals and talk about how therapy can be most helpful for you moving forward.

You can expect a warm, respectful, and collaborative conversation, as well as a clear sense of direction. By the end of the session, most clients leave with greater clarity and a plan for the next steps.
