Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate and dedicated mental health professional with a strong passion for helping individuals navigate emotional challenges, life transitions, and personal growth. I hold a Master’s degree in General Family Therapy and a Master’s degree in Psychology specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Since 2015, I have worked in the psychology and behavioral health field serving diverse populations across various clinical settings.

Throughout my professional experience, I have supported individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, stress, emotional dysregulation, behavioral challenges, self-esteem difficulties, relationship concerns, grief, and life transitions. I have experience working with adolescents, adults, families, and individuals from diverse cultural and personal backgrounds. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their healing journey.

I value authenticity, empathy, and meaningful human connection in therapy. I believe healing begins when individuals feel emotionally safe and supported while learning practical tools to improve emotional wellness and daily functioning. Outside of my professional work, I appreciate creativity, mindfulness, personal growth, and the importance of maintaining balance and self-care in everyday life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, client-centered, and individualized to each person’s unique needs and goals. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel emotionally safe, understood, and actively involved in the therapeutic process.

I utilize evidence-based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), mindfulness-based interventions, psychoeducation, emotional regulation techniques, and strength-based approaches. I work collaboratively with clients to identify unhealthy patterns, develop healthier coping skills, improve emotional awareness, and build resilience.

My therapeutic style combines professionalism, compassion, and practical strategies to help clients navigate life’s challenges while fostering personal growth, self-awareness, emotional balance, and long-term healing.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session to be welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental. My goal during the initial session is to create a comfortable environment where clients feel safe sharing their concerns, experiences, and goals at their own pace.

During the first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy, your current challenges, personal history, emotional needs, and what you hope to gain from treatment. I will also ask questions to better understand your background, strengths, coping patterns, and areas where you may need support. Together, we will begin identifying goals and developing a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.

I understand that starting therapy can sometimes feel intimidating, so I strive to make the experience collaborative, compassionate, and empowering. Clients often leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about their healing journey.
