Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) with a Master of Arts in Counseling. I currently work in a group practice, and I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and find pathways to healing and growth.

I have experience working with a wide range of clients, from young adults to those navigating end-of-life transitions. My focus areas include anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. I understand how overwhelming life can feel at times, and I’m here to help you explore ways to manage those feelings and take steps toward the life you want to live.

I’m trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is a great tool for addressing negative thought patterns and behaviors. I also find Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to be a powerful approach for helping people live more authentically and in alignment with their values. Whether you're looking to manage stress, navigate grief, or just understand yourself better, we’ll work together to find the tools and strategies that resonate most with you.

My approach to therapy

I’m a therapist trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I take a collaborative and holistic approach to therapy, meaning I’m here to walk alongside you, helping guide you toward the changes you want to make. I believe you are the expert in your life, and my role is to support and empower you as you navigate challenges and uncover what’s most important to you.

In our work together, I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can openly explore your feelings, thoughts, and experiences. Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, or simply feel overwhelmed, we’ll work through things at your pace. I can help you process unresolved emotions and provide tools that are practical and tailored to your unique needs, so you can manage life’s challenges with more ease.

Life can be tough at times, and it’s easy to feel lost or stuck. I believe that when we understand where our values align with our actions, we can make more empowered choices. I’ll help you gain insight, explore new ways of coping, and discover the tools that really work for you, so you can move forward with confidence.

I’m here to support you as you take steps toward the life you want to create — one where you feel more grounded, resilient, and aligned with your true self.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my main goal is to get to know you and understand what’s most important to you. I’ll ask about your background, current challenges, and what areas of your life you’d like to focus on improving. This is a time for you to share what’s on your mind, and I’ll listen with care and without judgment.

I believe in going at your pace. I want you to feel comfortable, so we’ll move through the session in a way that feels right for you. Some people come in with a lot to talk about, while others might just need to start slow. Either way, I’m here to support you, and we’ll move through the process together.

While therapy is a safe space to explore and reflect, it’s also a space for growth. Change can feel uncomfortable, but it’s through this process that we can start to make meaningful shifts in your life. My hope is that you’ll walk away from our first session feeling heard, understood, and with a sense of direction about where we can focus our work together.
