Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Diana Perez-Curry. I speak both English and Spanish. I have over 22 years working in a social work setting. I have worked with a variety of individuals, children, families & couples from different backgrounds presenting issues ranging from domestic violence, physical and sexual trauma, human trafficking, neglect and post-traumatic stress Disorder (PTSD).

My approach to therapy

I strive to create a warm, inviting, and safe space in therapy and view the work with clients as a collaborative effort. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, client-centered, and motivational interviewing to provide therapy.

I have experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, negative self-talk, low self-esteem, mood instability, challenging irrational beliefs, history of trauma, and identity development.

What you can expect from me

I believe that the individual is the expert on their life experience. It is my job, as a psychotherapist, to meet you there with unconditional positive acceptance.
