We all encounter struggles as we grow--this is part of life. However, I believe that each new stage or challenge grants us the opportunity to decide who we want to be. I love empowering young people to face life's ups and downs. Together, we work to challenge the stories they have come to believe about themselves and to uncover their strengths. My ultimate goal is not only to help my clients cope with life, but to find joy in experiencing it.
I believe every person has inherent worth and deserves compassionate attention. At the same time, I believe we are all responsible for ourselves and the choices we make. This mix helps me develop trusting relationships with my clients who know I have their best interest at heart.
After establishing our treatment goals, my clients will leave each session feeling seen, heard, and supported towards the goals they have for themselves. When working with minors, I help families learn how to best support their child towards their goals while establishing meaningful connection.
