Mental health and spirituality are integral to our well-being. She provides a safe, confidential space to explore both.

Diana believes that God’s love, mercy, and grace are the hallmarks of health and healing in our world, community, and lives.

Diana has a master of arts degree in marriage & family therapy from the Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, Indiana, and an undergraduate degree from Indiana University School of Social Work in Bloomington, Indiana.

Diana enjoys being in nature, kayaking, hiking, and bird watching, and while at home tending to her plants, baking and playing with her rescue kitties. The greatest joys come while traveling the world with her two sons and husband of 25 years.

My approach to therapy

First, I want to validate that it takes great courage and vulnerability to come to therapy and share your feelings and experiences with someone you've never met before. With that said, I believe my role first and foremost is to listen and provide a safe and judgment-free space. Then, together, I aim to help you set reasonable goals that align with your mental health vision. I believe change is possible if we work collaboratively and are committed to the therapeutic process. I have years of experience successfully helping my clients.

My clients are working through issues like grief, life transitions, anxiety, depression, bipolar, OCD, trauma, medical challenges and relationship issues, perfectionism and "imposer syndrome". I am dedicated to providing tools to individuals, couples and families so they can navigate life's challenges.

I am a seasoned meditator and I facilitated Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) classes for many years. This approach teaches meditation practices to include mindful body scan, sitting mediation, walking meditation and mindful movement. If you are interested in learning to drop below the relentless self criticism and endless chatter in the mind, I can help.

I work primarily from a person-centered approach and incorporate elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems, and object relations theory and Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Brainspotting (BSP). With couples, I approach is Gottman informed. I look forward to meeting you where you are today and helping you to embark on a new journey!

What you can expect from me

As my client, you will always be in the 'driver's seat.' At a first visit, we will work together to identify your goals for therapy and how to best make those a reality. My hope is for you to leave each session being closer to your stated goals and having strategies that you can use outside of therapy.
