Great to meet you!

I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 23 years of diversified nursing experience working with children, adolescents and adults in both outpatient and inpatient settings. I obtained my master's in nursing degree from Gonzaga University, where I received my training and mastery in specializing and treating various mental health conditions, including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and bipolar disorders.

A bit about my approach to therapy

As a compassionate and empathetic caregiver, I utilize a holistic client-centered approach, one that supports the individual’s mental, physical, emotional, social and spiritual well-being. I believe in meeting my clients exactly where they are at and partnering with them on their journeys to wellness. It is my goal to make those I treat feel seen, heard and understood. I will work together with you to create an individualized care plan that fosters your unique strengths and resiliency.

What you can expect from our first session

During our first visit, my goal is to get to know you. I will perform an in-depth psychiatric evaluation, which includes asking about your history and current conditions. Working together, we will create a comprehensive plan of care for you. If medications are a part of your care plan, we will establish your regimen. At subsequent visits we check in on your progress and overall well-being. I am there to listen, offer guidance, supportive therapy and education as necessary.
