Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! My name is Diana Uribe, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about helping individuals empower themselves to live their best lives!

I have a B.A. from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and obtained my MSW from the University of California, Los Angeles. During my education and career, I've had the opportunity to work with victims of domestic violence and human trafficking, older adults, veterans, hospice patients, and survivors of childhood abuse and trauma. I've also taught parenting classes and life skills workshops and facilitated counseling support groups.

I know that it can be difficult to seek help. It would be an honor for me to partner with you in order to reach your emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical well-being.

I am currently accepting teletherapy clients only. Please feel free to reach out and tell me about yourself and what you're looking for. I look forward to hearing from you!

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel safe and seen, so my primary goal will be to establish a connection and create a safe and supportive space. My therapy style is pretty eclectic. I think most modalities have really great interventions and strategies, so I like to pull from different ones based on what might be most effective for the challenges that clients are facing.

What you can expect from me

In our initial therapy session, I will want to know more about what's been going on that led you to seek therapy and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. I will never push for information that you're not comfortable sharing at the beginning, but I may ask some difficult questions regarding history and past trauma to start identifying potential treatment goals and best modalities for addressing challenges.
