Great to meet you!

Great to meet you. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I’m here to help you navigate life’s challenges with compassion, respect, and practical support. You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, burned out, or unsure of your next step — you don’t have to sort it all out alone. In our work together, you can expect to feel heard, understood, and supported as you move at your own pace. I have experience supporting young adults and adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, chronic stress, relationship difficulties, chronic illness, and other behavioral health concerns. My background in community mental health, medical settings, and care coordination helps me look at the full picture of your emotional, physical, and social well-being, so we can create a plan that truly fits your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based, which means I see you as more than your struggles and I respect the pace and boundaries that feel right for you. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness techniques. Together, we’ll explore how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors connect, and we’ll practice concrete coping skills you can use between sessions. Whether you’re navigating a major transition, healing from past experiences, managing ongoing stress, or seeking personal growth, I aim to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe being honest and vulnerable. We’ll focus on building resilience, increasing self-awareness, and strengthening the tools you need to create meaningful, sustainable change in your daily life.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, so I work hard to make the process feel clear, collaborative, and grounded. In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know you as a whole person — not just your symptoms. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you in, what feels hardest right now, and what you hope might be different in your life. We’ll talk through your history at a pace that feels manageable, identify your existing strengths, and begin setting goals that feel realistic and meaningful to you. I invite your questions at any point, and I welcome your feedback about what is or isn’t working in our sessions. I see you as the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, care, and practical tools. You don’t need to have the “right” words or a fully formed plan before reaching out — we’ll figure it out together, one step at a time.
