Great to meet you!

I aim to empower you to be the expert about your child, while serving as a collaborative advocate throughout the treatment process to ensure quality of care and services. I provide a playful, creative, and supportive environment for youngsters of all ages. My goal is to ensure they feel heard, understood, and safe because the best foundation to progress in therapy is to maintain a comfortable and trusting relationship that helps them look forward to each session! With over 10 years of experience in child and adolescent therapy (ages 0-17), I help youth navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and neurodevelopmental challenges.

My approach to therapy

I earned my MSW as a Child Welfare Scholar from the University of Michigan School of Social Work in 2015 and integrate evidence-based practices tailored to your child's specific needs, including CBT and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Play Therapy, Mindfulness, Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS), and a neurobiological, trauma-informed framework through the Neuro-Sequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT).

What you can expect from me

I am dedicated to partnering with your family to help your child thrive in their daily life. As a parent myself, I know 'it takes a village' to help children grow and develop. Thus, my therapeutic approach takes a whole-family perspective. I firmly believe in highlighting family strengths along with your child’s strengths, while uncovering underlying needs and building healthy coping skills to manage life stressors.
